What if I want to stop using ePayUs?
Easy — flip a switch and we step aside. ePayUs is a connector, not a replacement. Your Stripe stays your Stripe. Your Xero or QuickBooks stays exactly as it was. Your data lives in those systems, not ours. Turn ePayUs off and everything keeps working. The only thing you lose is the reconciliation running on its own. No data to move, no contract to break, no fee to pay.
Do I have to change anything I’m using now?
No. ePayUs sits on top of what you already have. Keep Stripe. Keep PayPal. Keep Xero or QuickBooks. We just make them talk to each other on their own — and we add a workflow for the cash, checks, and EFTs they don’t handle by themselves.
What if I don’t have Stripe or Xero/QuickBooks yet?
Signing up for Stripe takes about 10 minutes. Same with Xero or QuickBooks Online. We’ll walk you through it on the demo call. They’re both standard tools, free or cheap to start, and you’d want them whether you use us or not. Once you’re set up, we can connect everything in under an hour.
How long does setup take?
Under an hour, start to finish. Set up your company info. Connect Xero or QuickBooks. Map your bank and clearing accounts. Turn on the payment methods you want. Run a test. Go live. That’s it — the system takes over from there.
Does it really work with both Xero and QuickBooks?
Yes. That’s one of the things that makes us different. One workflow runs both. Your team learns it once. Whether a client uses Xero or QuickBooks Online, the experience is the same.
How are Stripe fees handled in the books?
The right way. Stripe takes its fee before depositing, which is what makes the math hard. We log the full sale as revenue and the Stripe fee as its own expense. Your bank deposit reconciles cleanly, and your gross sales stay accurate. No manual journal entries needed.
How do paper checks and cash actually work?
Customers print checks from a web form using templates we built in — personal or business, plus the deposit slips. Cash deposits get the same treatment: deposit slips, branded receipts, and a full trail. It all runs through the same clearing-account flow as digital payments.
How secure is my data?
Payments run through Stripe and PayPal — we never store raw card data ourselves. Bank-level encryption in transit and at rest. Each user gets a role, and every action gets logged. SOC 2 work is in progress.
